Once a proud shieldbearer, the Bone Defender has been brought back as a dark creature to protect his fellow Unholy horrors within the Ruins. The Defender can be likened to an undead version of the Man-at-Arms, holding the line with his sturdy shield and armor while those that hide behind him attack with impunity. Fortunately, these skeletal remains are slow and it won't be difficult to get around his defenses.
The Defender always appears at the front and aims to frustrate your heroes with his hefty PROT and stun/move ability Dead Weight, whilst chipping away at their health with his axe. If pushed to the back he will move forwards with his near useless Clumsy Axeblade attack. Generally speaking, despite the potential annoyance of Dead Weight, unless you have a Blight attack spare, you should leave him alone at the start of battle and concentrate on the more vulnerable troops he is protecting, which is relatively simple as he has no ability that would allow him to take fire for an ally.
