A swordsman in his past life, the Bone Soldier has been dragged back from the peace of death to defend the halls of the [[Ruins]] in which the [[Necromancer]] resides. This [[Enemy Type|Unholy]] creature is as basic an enemy as one can encounter within the tainted realm, only capable of simple slashes dealing average damage and nothing more, in essence an upgrade from the even lesser [[Bone Rabble]]. The only real danger with this enemy is that the finesse it had in life allows it to strike with a farther reach than other melee monsters.

Depending on whether health or stress is of greater concern to your party at the moment, it is recommended to destroy either the Soldier or the [[Bone Courtier]] they often team up with as quickly as possible, a relatively easy task considering their low health. Even mundane damage can eventually build up to something more threatening.
