One of the members of the infamous "Brigands Brigade", the Brigand Bloodletter is the heavy tank of the group. While his primary role is to soak up melee damage for his allies and soften foes with widespread bleeding, his uncommon but devastating "Point Blank Shot" can inflict massive damage, even more so with a fearsome critical chance. Furthermore, should his Rain of Whips crit, your party will suffer a lot of stress on top of bleeding.

Despite this, it's usually better to deal with the other frailer bandits first to limit incoming damage earlier rather than allow this massive oaf to fulfill his defensive role and give his smaller comrades free reign for a few more turns. Pulling a smaller brigand to the front, even a Cutthroat, can also prove highly useful, as not only will this prevent the Bloodletter from using Point Blank Shot, but attacks aimed at the two front positions such as the Crusader's Zealous Accusation or the Leper's Hew can strike both the Bloodletter and the pulled unit, soon leaving a corpse that can continue to block this oaf's firearm.

Behaviour
At LV1 dungeons, his Point Blank Shot ability cannot be used twice in a row, so you will have at least one turn in between each PBS. Moreover, he is more likely to PBS at the start of the battle (thrice more likely for level 1 and 3 dungeons, 5x more likely for champion dungeons) than at any other round.

Due to his synergy with the Cutthroat's bleed debuff from "Slice and Dice", the Bloodletter will be more prone to use his "Rain of Whips" if the former enemy is still alive. The exact chances are, for each dungeon, 2x, 3x and 4x greater chance compared to PBS or Punishment.

At champion level dungeons, the bloodletter will still have double the chance to use RoW instead of Punishment or PBS even if the Cutthroat has already been killed.

You are likely to encounter bloodletters with one cutthroat in rank 3 and a fusilier in rank 4. On of the better strategies here is to pull the fusilier forward because the size of the bloodletter will pull him all the way to rank 1 and the cutthroat back into the 4th rank. Neither enemy has good options in these positions, so it will give you some time to take out the bloodletter while the other enemies are regrouping themselves.
