The Rapturous Cultists are devotees, irreversably corrupted by the thing the Ancestor revived, and are fanatically devoted to it. They will give their lives to protect their allies and the object of their perverse worship.This enemy can be encountered on the first 2 expeditions in the Darkest Dungeon.
Behavior
With their fast speed, the Rapturous Cultist are likely to act fast at the start of the turn, using guard on one of their damage dealing allies in the front ranks. More rarely, or if their allies already guarded, they will use Flesh to Flesh to be an even greater nuisance and undo any previous damage done via their inhumane healing. It is recommended to use stuns to temporary get them out of the fight and focus on greater threats instead. The Rapturous Cultists don't have any offensive abilities, so if you manage to leave two of them alive, you can spend a few turns healing health and stress.
